Did we tell you that we are hatching chickens again?
Incubating chicken eggs is a 21-day process and requires an egg-incubator, which will turn the eggs and will keep it warm enough inside the incubator.
Hatching our chickens with our students is one of the most rewarding experiences. Nature is amazing, and watching our students experience this first hand is incredible. The students were also “candling” the eggs, to have a look inside the eggs.
Hopefully, all our baby chicks will soon join our chickens in the barn. This great way of incorporating nature into our students’ lives, which also means caring for the animals on our campus, is an incredible experience for all students.
