Our Manta Rays classroom is discovering Egyptian art, crowns and hieroglyphics. Our students prepared bookmarks with their name written in hieroglyphics. Students learned how common numbers, letters, sounds, and objects were written using hieroglyphs. This early form of communication was a great way to see for our students that it’s not that different from how we are reading and writing today.
