As a Montessori school in Davie, Summit-Questa Montessori School believes every child should feel safe and supported throughout the school day. Our safeguarding approach is built around a well-monitored campus, safe technology use in the classroom, and trusted adults who are available to support students whenever needed. We are committed to creating an environment where every child feels protected and ready to learn.
Secure campus
The school campus is gated and monitored by security personnel and surveillance cameras to help maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
Monitored campus access
Visitor access is managed through a sign-in/sign-out process, and all staff and visitors are required to wear identification badges helping the school carefully manage who is on campus at all times.
Safe classroom technology
All classroom computers are equipped with GoGuardian software to support safe and supervised online learning.
Student support team
The Safeguardians are available to every student, offering guidance, care, and a trusted source of support throughout the school day.
Visible support reminders
Flyers displayed around the school help students easily recognize the Safeguardians and remind them that support is always close by.
