Basketball gives students the chance to build confidence, coordination and strong teamwork in a fast-moving, supportive environment. Younger players begin by learning passing, dribbling, shooting and defensive positioning, while also developing game awareness and communication on the court. As they progress, students refine technique, improve speed and stamina, and learn how to respond under pressure during competitive play. Through practices and league games, players strengthen resilience, discipline and school spirit while representing the Seahawks with pride. Basketball is offered in Winter 1 for girls in Elementary and Middle School, and in Winter 2 for boys in Elementary and Middle School.
Soccer helps students develop endurance, footwork and teamwork while enjoying the energy of the game. Early training focuses on ball control, passing, movement and understanding space on the field, helping players grow in confidence and decision-making. Older students build tactical awareness, sharpen attacking and defending skills, and learn to work together effectively in match situations. With opportunities to compete as part of the Seahawks, soccer encourages perseverance, sportsmanship, and a strong sense of belonging within the school community. Soccer is offered in Winter 1 for boys in Elementary and Middle School, and in Winter 2 for girls in Elementary and Middle School.
Swimming supports students as they build water confidence, technique, and physical endurance in a structured and encouraging setting. Beginners focus on foundational skills such as floating, kicking, breathing, and stroke development, with water safety woven throughout every stage of learning. As swimmers advance, they improve efficiency across strokes, strengthen stamina, and work toward stronger performance in training and competition. The program helps students grow in discipline, focus, and self-belief while benefiting from the school’s dedicated swim instruction and athletic environment. Swim Team is offered in Spring, from mid-March to May, for Upper Elementary and Middle School students.
Track and field gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves through events that reward effort, determination, and personal growth. Athletes are introduced to core running, jumping and throwing skills while building balance, coordination, and overall fitness. As they gain experience, students work on speed, technique, pacing and event-specific performance, learning how to set goals and improve over time. Whether competing individually or contributing to the team, athletes develop perseverance, confidence, and pride as they represent the Seahawks in league competition. Track and field is offered in Winter 2, from January to mid-March, for elementary students.
Volleyball helps students develop teamwork, focus, and quick reactions through a sport that relies on clear communication and trust. Players begin by learning the fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, and court positioning, while gaining confidence in a supportive team environment. As they progress, they refine technique, improve timing, and develop stronger tactical awareness during rallies and match play. Through practices and competition, students strengthen resilience, discipline, and cooperation, discovering the value of working together toward shared success on the court. Volleyball is offered in Fall for girls in Elementary and Middle School, and in Spring for boys in Elementary and Middle School.
Flag football offers students an exciting way to develop agility, teamwork and strategic thinking in a fast-paced game setting. New players learn essential skills such as passing, catching, route running and defensive movement, while building confidence and understanding of the game. As students advance, they improve speed, coordination and communication, learning how to execute plays and respond quickly during competition. The sport promotes perseverance, leadership and school spirit, giving Seahawks athletes the chance to grow both individually and as part of a committed team. Flag football is offered in Fall for boys in Elementary and Middle School, and in Spring for girls in Elementary and Middle School.

Sports are an incredible way to build a brotherhood or sisterhood among peers. The kids respect each other, and they respect those who put their all into the game.
As a coach, I have been a part of both middle and elementary school teams. It is incredible for me to watch their journey as athletes as they possibly find “their” sport.
Jess
Coach
As a Track & Field and Cross Country coach for students in Grades 2–8, I help young athletes build confidence, resilience, and teamwork through age-appropriate training and goal-setting.
Beyond sport, I strive to create a supportive environment where students develop discipline, sportsmanship, and life skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Ruben
My experience at Questa helped me build confidence in my abilities and learn how to solve problems on my own, which has made high school way less intimidating than I’d imagined.
It has also helped me with balancing athletics and academics,
